TRA Design collaborated with SSA on the new Museum Center Gift Shop. We had to be sensitive to the historic nature of the Museum Center, compliment the architecture, but still have the design seem current. We opened up the space with an exposed structure, painted it dark, and added large circular pendant lights at varied heights to create a simplifed but dynamic ceiling that allows the focus to be on the displays. The gift shop adds to the favor and success of the overall Museum Center Renovation.
